<h3>Bara Gumbad Tomb and Masjid, Lodhi Garden, Delhi</h3>
<p><img style="max-width: 100%; height: 220px;" src="https://static.vikaspedia.in/mediastorage/filestorage/20260812015909_Tomb.webp" alt="Uploaded Image" width="330"></p>
<p>Built during the reign of Sikandar Lodi, the Bara Gumbad Masjid and Tomb dates to the 15<sup>th</sup> century CE and reflects the evolving Indo-Islamic architectural traditions of the Lodi period. The square-shaped tomb features an imposing dome and corner turrets. The interiors feature stucco work and paintings, while the exterior uses red and black stone to add contrast to the grey stone. According to an inscription over its southern mihrabs, the adjoining mosque was built in 1494 CE. It is distinguished by five arches, three domes, engraved Quranic inscriptions and delicate foliage motifs.</p>
