CUET (PG) The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is being introduced for admission into PG programmes in Central, State and Participating Universities/ Institutions for every Academic Session under the Ministry of Education (MoE). The Common University Entrance Test CUET (PG) will provide a common platform and equal opportunity to candidates across the country, especially those from rural and other remote areas and help establish better connect with the Universities. A single application form will enable the candidates to cover a wide outreach and be part of the admission process to various Central and participating Universities. NTA has been assigned the responsibility of conducting the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for admission to Post-graduate (PG) Programmes of participating Universities for every Academic Session. This is a national-level test. The CUET (PG) will be conducted in Computer Based Test mode only. The medium of the Question Paper for CUET (PG) will be English and Hindi (Bilingual) except for languages, M. Tech Higher Sciences and Acharya papers (except Hindu Studies, Baudha Dharshan and Indian Knowledge System. Age Limit For appearing in the CUET (PG), there is no age limit for the candidates. The candidates who have passed the Bachelor's degree/equivalent examination or appearing in an academic year irrespective of their age can appear in the CUET (PG) examination. However, the candidates will be required to fulfil the age criteria of the University to which they are desirous of taking admission. CUET (PG) NTA Score The NTA Score of CUET (PG) would be valid for admission to that particular academic year only. Scores and candidate data would be shared with all the participating Universities/Institutions. Admissions Merely appearing in CUET (PG) does not confer any right to the candidate for admission to the desirous University. The selection and admission would be subject to fulfilling the admission criteria, eligibility, rank in merit list, medical fitness, verification of original documents and such other criteria as may be prescribed by the University, the candidate is applying for. Admissions are handled at the level of the Central and Participating Universities for their respective programs. After the declaration of the CUET (PG) result by NTA, the respective Universities will declare the counselling/ admission schedule and merit list based on the CUET (PG) score and the other criteria of the respective University.
