Adi Sanskriti platform promotes learning and engagement with rich and diverse tribal socio-cultural heritages and life. Its mission is to empower tribal communities through the preservation and promotion of their traditions while fostering their socio-economic development. This platform was launched by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs as the beta version on September, 10, 2025. Adi Sanskriti is envisioned as the world’s first Digital University to preserve and promote the culture and traditional knowledge of tribal communities, and an online marketplace for the world to access products made by tribal artisans. The platform integrates three major components: Adi Vishwavidyalaya (Digital Tribal Art Academy): Offers immersive courses on tribal dance, painting, crafts, music, and folklore. Adi Sampada (Socio-Cultural Repository): A collection of over 5,000 curated documents across five themes, covering paintings, dance, clothing & textiles, artefacts and livelihood. Adi Haat (Online marketplace): Currently linked with TRIFED, this will evolve into a dedicated online marketplace for tribal artisans, enabling sustainable livelihoods and direct consumer access. Adi Vishwavidyalaya The vision is to create a world where tribal cultures are widely understood, respected, and celebrated. Through Aadi Vishwavidyalaya, the aim is to become a global hub for learning and promoting India's tribal art, traditions, and heritage. The mission is to educate and empower individuals by providing comprehensive, expert-led courses on tribal cultures. It strives to preserve ancient tribal traditions while fostering cultural exchange and understanding through innovative, accessible e-learning experiences.
